Under the apex direction of university administration and the Council of Student Activities (CSA), TechSrijan '27 operates as Northern India's most formidable proving ground for engineers.

Prof. Anupama Kaushik Sharma
The fifth Vice-Chancellor and the first woman Vice-Chancellor in the 64-year history of MMMUT. Championing academic rigor, state-of-the-art technical laboratories, and empowering student engineers to establish MMMUT at the vanguard of national innovation.

Prof. B. K. Pandey
Heading the apex Council of Student Activities (CSA). Providing visionary mentorship across all co-curricular student societies, university delegations, and ensuring world-class execution for Eastern India's largest technical festival.

Dr. Anupam Sahu
Directing the tactical arena operations and technical charters of the Technical Sub-Council (TSC). Coordinating IEEE, SAE, Robotics Club, and RESO to stage 30+ cutting-edge robotics combat, coding marathons, and automotive trials.
Forging Engineers in the Crucible of Real Action
Every year, the storied 354-acre campus of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology transforms into an open arena of technological conquest. Founded in 1962 as MMMEC and elevated to university status in 2013, the institution has stood as an intellectual bastion in northern India for more than six decades.
TechSrijan was born out of a relentless belief: that true engineering begins where classroom blackboards end. Over three days, students leave lecture halls behind to battle in bullet-proof combat cages, debug deep-learning models in 24-hour hackathons, tear down combustion engines, and stress-test structural bridges.
With over 5,000+ delegates hailing from prestigious institutions including IITs, NITs, and premier state universities, TechSrijan provides a proving ground where merit is sovereign and lifelong engineering collaborations are forged.
The arena does not reward passive credentials. It honors the machine that runs under stress, the algorithm that executes without failure, and the resolve of students who refuse to yield.
Equipped with high-performance computing centers (Aryabhatta & Ramanujan), a 2,000-seat multi-purpose auditorium, outdoor sports stadiums for drone arenas, and dedicated hostel quarters for visiting delegates.
The FiveHouses of Command
Under the apex direction of the Technical Sub-Council, five specialist societies spearhead individual disciplines — ensuring world-class execution across robotics, automotive, AI, and systems.
Technical Sub-Council
Operating under the Council of Student Activities (CSA), the Technical Sub-Council is the central governing command of TechSrijan. TSC allocates budgets, oversees corporate alliances, coordinates institute administration, and steers all five technical societies under one unified visionary roadmap.
- Master festival planning, scheduling, and protocol management
- National university outreach & delegate accreditation
- Corporate sponsorships, industrial ties & keynote guest curation
- Institute administrative coordination & security operations
From 1962 toImperium: Requiem
Six decades of educational heritage and twenty-five years of technical fest legacy culminate in this year's grandest arena.
Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College
Established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on a sprawling 354-acre campus in Gorakhpur, MMMEC emerged as a flagship technical institution in northern India, nurturing generations of technocrats, researchers, and public infrastructure leaders.
Genesis of TechSrijan
A cadre of student innovators founded TechSrijan to bridge the chasm between textbook theory and practical industrial builds. Starting as an inter-branch symposium, it quickly captured the imagination of engineering colleges across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi-NCR.
Upgradation to Technological University
MMMEC was reconstituted as Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), granting autonomous academic and research governance. The Technical Sub-Council (TSC) was formalized as the apex technical body to coordinate IEEE, SAE, Robotics Club, and RESO under a unified charter.
Imperium: Requiem
Marking over 25 years of TechSrijan and 64 years of university heritage, TechSrijan '27 emerges as 'Imperium: Requiem'. A 3-day spectacle featuring 30+ arenas, a ₹10 Lakh+ prize pool, cutting-edge AI and robotic battle cages, and over 5,000 participants from across the nation.
The Four Tenets ofOur Creed
Principles guiding the arena judges, student conveners, and contestants who step onto the fest grounds.
SOVEREIGNTY OF MERIT
Scoring sheets, algorithmic test cases, and combat brackets are published and executed without ambiguity. Every shield and prize at TechSrijan is earned through pure proof of work, rigorous execution, and demonstrable technical competence.
CRUCIBLE OF CODE & HARDWARE
We believe that real engineers are forged when circuits fail, code breaks under load, and teams rebuild at 3 AM in the pits. TechSrijan prioritizes live, working hardware demonstrations over theoretical slide decks.
CITADEL OF COLLABORATION
While teams compete fiercely in the arenas, the corridors of MMMUT foster lasting bonds. Over two decades, TechSrijan participants have formed startups, published joint IEEE papers, and built open-source communities.
OPEN GATES FOR NOVICES
No student is treated merely as a passive spectator. Along with elite national hackathons, TechSrijan runs introductory hands-on workshops, exhibition walkthroughs, and beginner hardware tracks to mentor the next generation.
Getting to the Citadel: Gorakhpur, UP
Located along Deoria Road in Gorakhpur, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology is easily reachable from all major metro hubs across India via express railway corridors and domestic flights.
